I was born and raised in Hingham, Massachusetts, and attended Norfolk
County Agricultural High School in Walpole, MA, where I learned that being a farmer or veterinarian is very, very hard. After
a few years of working as a veterinary technician and going to far too many classic rock shows, I was accepted to Massachusetts
College of Art, where I majored in SIM (Studio for Interrelated Media) a program of which too much has already been written
elsewhere.
After college, I was lucky enough
to work at the Boston Center for the Arts for a while, and then I managed the Jorge Hernandez Cultural Center (also known
as Villa Victoria) for Inquilinos Boricuas en Accion for seven challenging but enjoyable years.
I am currently freelancing, and
writing & submitting stories to markets. I also I walk dogs, which is good for me because I could
stand to lose some weight.
I currently live in Roslindale
with my wife Cheryl.
